Tom Terrono has successfully operated multiple service stations and convenience stores in Kansas and Missouri. He began his career as the manager of two high volume Kansas Turnpike stations after completing military service and his education at the College of Emporia where he majored in Business Administration. He was a Territory Manager for Amoco Oil before becoming an Amoco dealer operating service stations and c-stores in the Kansas City area for over 28 years. His management and leadership skills allowed him to successfully operate as many as six locations at one time. He was responsible for their total operations, financing, business planning and analysis, hiring, promotions, salary administration, merchandising and sales promotions. He was one of the very first dealers in the Kansas City area to computerize the daily books, repair orders, account payables, and payroll processing. He has extensive experience in software programs for both C-store and full facility operations. Tom has substantial hands-on experience in all phases of the retail petroleum industry.

Bill Retired In 2022

Bill Sawyer worked for a petroleum jobber managing two service stations while attending college. He graduated from Emporia State University with a BS in Marketing and had over 30 years of experience with Amoco Oil Co. He held positions of Territory Mgr., Training Rep., Sales Mgr., Regional Training Mgr., Manager Regional Lubricant Sales, and Regional Manager Marketing and Sales Training. After retiring from Amoco, Bill and a partner operated an Advertising and Marketing agency in Overland Park, KS. He did work for various clients developing advertising, sales promotions and training strategies and programs. The client list included: GE Signature Motor Club, Amoco Motor Club, Lucent Technologies, Certicare Repair Centers, Metro Atlanta Transportation Authority (MARTA), Avaya Tech., University of Nebraska Football & Basketball, and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Bill also did training and consulting work in the Convenience Store Industry for Amoco, Red Crown Convenience Store Marketing, and Oasis Convenience Store Marketing.
